| - July 16, 2026 **Women’s American Football High Performance**   **10-17 January 2027** **City of Moreton Bay**     Media release by - American Football Queensland **Moreton Bay Backs International Women’s American Football Camp** **American Football Queensland and City of Moreton Bay Partner to Deliver 2027 Pacific Alliance Bowl**   American Football Queensland (AFQ) is proud to announce a new partnership with City of Moreton Bay to support the delivery of the **2027 AFQ x WFA Women’s American Football High Performance Camp – Pacific Alliance Bowl**, an international training and development event set to bring athletes, coaches and officials from Australia and the United States to City of Moreton Bay in January 2027.   The partnership reflects a shared commitment to growing women’s sport, attracting sporting tourism, and showcasing City of Moreton Bay as a premier destination for high-performance events.   The week-long camp will be delivered in collaboration with the Women's Football Alliance (WFA), the world's largest women's tackle football league, providing Australian athletes with an unprecedented opportunity to train and compete alongside some of the best female American football players and coaches in the world.   AFQ Vice President Alex Ahrens said the support from City of Moreton Bay would help establish the Pacific Alliance Bowl as a landmark event for women’s gridiron in Australia.   “This partnership is about much more than football.
