American Football Queensland is seeking passionate, community-minded leaders to help guide the continued growth of our sport across the state. We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the volunteer positions of President and Secretary to join an existing cohort of directors leading the growth of the next Olympic Sport!
These are important leadership roles within our organisation and an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of American football and flag football in Queensland.

Position Available: President
American Football Queensland is seeking a committed and strategic leader to take on the role of President.
The President plays a key role in providing direction, leadership, and governance oversight to the organisation. Working closely with the Board, member clubs, and key stakeholders, the President helps ensure American Football Queensland continues to grow in a sustainable, inclusive, and positive way.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing leadership to the Board and broader organisation
- Chairing meetings and helping drive strategic priorities
- Representing American Football Queensland with stakeholders, partners, and the wider community
- Supporting strong governance, compliance, and decision-making processes
- Encouraging collaboration across clubs, committees, and programs
- Helping promote participation and development opportunities across Queensland

Volunteer Role - 8 hours per month

This is a volunteer role and a valuable opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the future of the sport in Queensland.
Position Available: Secretary
American Football Queensland is also seeking a highly organised and reliable individual to fill the role of Secretary.
The Secretary is a vital member of the leadership team, supporting the effective administration and governance of the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, communicates well, and wants to contribute behind the scenes to the success of the sport.
