Flag football is a 5v5 non-contact version of American Football. Think of it like OzTag is to Rugby

It is one of the fastest-growing sports with already 20million players playing worldwide. A number we only see rising with its introduction to the Olympic games in 2028

Come and try days will commence on April 10^th with league games commencing from 1^st May. Plan is for 2 age groups across both girls and boys divisions, Grades 7-9 & Grades 10-12.

Cost: $110/player + AFA Membership (12 month)

If you are unsure come and join a come & try day from April 10th for a few week before games kick of May 1st.

All team members to wear the same "uniform" and pocketless shorts.
Teams of up to 10 players allowed.

FAQ

Do I need to have a team to join?

No you can join as an individual and we will be able to find you a team to join. If you do have a team simple enter the team name when you register and we will make sure you are available.

Can we choose a team name and colours?

Absolutely. You are welcome to choose your team name and colours. If you don't have a team logo we can help you create one just let us know the name and colours and we will send you some options.

What are the rules?

All team members to wear the same "uniform" and pocketless shorts. Teams of up to 10 players allowed and we play Olympic rules. Yes you can blitz!

What is next?

In July we will have a cross region Championship for the best teams in each division and league to come together to play for QLD title. Join us in July school holidays and battle out between Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Why isnt there a league in my area?
Please tell us where you are using our contact form but we are looking to setup leagues in Cairns and on the Sunshine Coast next.
