Frost's Gridiron journey began in 2007 with the Tuggeranong Tornadoes, and his involvement has only grown from there. As a player, he represented the ACT Monarchs as a Cornerback and went on to coach Defensive Backs at the state level. His commitment to the sport led him to participate in various Outback Football selection camps, strength and conditioning programs, and he even set national records in the 40-yard dash, 10-yard dash, L Cone drill, and Broad Jump.In 2013, Grant took his talents to the United States, joining the Oklahoma Panhandle State University football program.
His experience there only enhanced his knowledge and understanding of the game. Returning to Australia in 2016, Grant became the Defensive Coordinator for the Centurions Football Club, achieving significant success before stepping into the Head Coach role in 2020—a position he still holds today.
Grant’s coaching experience extends beyond club football. He was the Defensive Coordinator for the All Stars State team during the 2020 GA National Championship Series and the RQ Outlaws.
His ability to coach and manage teams remotely speaks to his adaptability and leadership. As the Head Coach of the Central Queensland Irukandji, Grant is well-positioned to build on the team’s success and elevate the standard of American Football not only in Central Queensland but across the state.
His experience, passion, and commitment to the sport will no doubt inspire the next generation of players. Congratulations, Grant! We look forward to seeing you lead the Irukandji in their next chapter.
